A very uninteresting day.

The Japanese Kitten Awarded Chow page will be up and finished sometime tomorrow! So be sure to check for it at the end of the day or something if you are interested
I woke up this morning a very happy camper. Remember how I was planning on finishing The Ruins the other day? Well, I wasn’t able to because the movie wasn’t on video on demand like I thought it was. So, today at 9:25, I watched the movie.. and I liked it! Very underrated horror film considering the horrid reviews it got. Anyhoo, before that I had breakfast. Let me start off by saying that since I am a high fructose corn syrup Nazi, I do not consume Pop Tarts. This morning I really wanted a Pop Tart-like brekkie though. So I warmed up a fantastic Amy’s strawberry Toaster Pop and “frosted” it with Oikos greek yogurt (sweetened with strawberry syrup) and “sprinkled” it with dried cranberries. Then I put it in the freezer for about 5 minutes, and then microwaved the whole thing for 7 seconds. The “frosting” actually stiffened a bit! On the side, I ate the rest of the yogurt with more cranberries and added in some crushed up almonds (not pictured).
After I finished watching The Ruins, I decided to get organized and do some homework! I haven’t been able to concentrate much lately (hey, its hard to funcion with a heart beat at 44) so I thought I’d try again (my mom was kinda bugging me too, she’s good at that :p). I sort of succeeded, MUCH better than yesterday at least.
Halfway through MORE spanish homework, I got mucho hungry and had my Carnation Instant Breakfast (strawberry) and half a Chocolate Fudge Think Thin bar. I think I am in love with those things. No lie.
TODAY WAS LAME AND NOTHING HAPPENED BETWEEN SNACK TIME AND LUNCH
Le lunche (no, that is not actual french, my friends): I made a hummus and lentil sandwich on Ezekiel bread with the other have of my Think Thin bar, cherry tomatoes, and a Morningstar Farms breakfast patty. I love how juicy those things taste. They taste like those greasy ones at IHOP! Only better, because I know I didn’t spend about $1.99 for a nice, clogged artery.
MMMMM!
Then I had to rush to get ready to go talk to my English teacher with my mom about what assignments I’d be doing from home. Boy, do I have alot to do. On our way out, we saw *gasp* the manboy I was crushing on prior to leaving school. My mom said that he had a “nerdy butt.” Um.. what is that? Is that like… a butt… with glasses or something? And no social skills? o.O
HAH. (edit: that’s not his butt! lol!)
Snack: Peanut butter and Honey Sesame Kashi TLC crackers.
Sometimes I wonder how some people just don’t like peanut butter. My ex-boyfriend states he does not like peanut butter and I am just baffled. What is there to not love about that creamy, nutty, and well.. buttery substance?? Mmmm.. I wanna eat some more just thinking about it. Jonathan, you are a silly lettuce wrap! OH, I watched Final Destination for the millionth time today. Apparently, I am due to die sometime in November 2017 according to the DVD’s little death calculator. I’m gonna die young
. And I know this is true because those things are just SO reliable. Hehe.
I did a little emotional sketching during another study break (I’ve felt a little down today. I’ve just been stressed) and before I knew it, dinner came along. Mom made this amazing lemon and orange chicken and sweet potato fries. We use the Alexia brand of sweet potato fries. They have this really awesome line of frozen vegetables… but what makes them exciting is that the vegetables are all fancy and seasoned and stuff.
After dinner, my mom took me for a walk (hah, I sound like a puppy or something). We talked about possibly changing psychiatrists (remember Dr. H from one of my earlier posts? The guy that looks like the head in the pan?) because he can be a little jerk face sometimes! Why must some doctors be so full of themselves? Yeah, they have a degree but honestly, anyone who applies themselves can get a degree. However, not everyone has the courtesy or education to be polite. I find him very intimidating. My mom tells me to picture him in his underwear but he is kinda hot for an older gentlemen.. so he’d probably look good… making him even more intimidating! Bad advice, mommy.
When I got back from my walk it was time to shower. This brought be down a lot because every time I ran my fingers though my hair… I’d see about 6 strands in my hand. I felt damaged.
Snack: 1/2 c. Kashi Go Lean crunch, 1/2 of a 1/2 strawberry crumble Luna Bar, blueberries, strawberries, milk, and a squirt of strawberry syrup. HEAVENHEAVENHEAVEN.
I’m actually eating that as I type this up, hehe. I’m going to go to bed right when away though. I have a stress induced tummy ache. Goodnight, all.
Besos! ( that means kisses in spanish) Karina.
