Consistently Inconsistant

7:35 AM: I was awakened by my mom trying to get me going. We had to leave for my psychologist appointment at 9:30. I hate early mornings! But I love breakfast
. I had a nice, protein packed bowl of Kashi GLC (1 c.). Greek yogurt is my morning protein secret! I mixed these two together with a teaspoon of honey and 1/2 a sliced banana. On the side, I had my typical strawberry flavored Carnation Instant Breakfast. There are few things more comforting than a nice bowl of your favorite cereal! At least, I think so! :p
9:50 AM: We didn’t leave the house until 9:50. HAHAHA, late as always! My psychologist is a nice man and today was a pretty good session. I’ll be seeing my nutritionist tomorrow :O I’m a bit nervous… I really hope I gained some weight! If I didn’t, that probably means I will have to up my calories by more than 400 tomorrow… ugh, I’m struggling just to get the full amount I am now, I don’t know how I’m going to be able to add 400 tomorrow. o.O
I had a Key Lime Pie LaraBar on my way out of my doctor’s office. You know, those LaraBars never cease to continue amazing me. Although, last night I tried the Cinnamon Roll one and it didn’t impress me too much. It gave me that burning feeling in the back of my throat that I get whenever I eat something too sweet. The Key Lime Pie bar was AMAZING though. Just like my grandmammy’s! (Just kidding. I don’t actually have a key lime pie baking “grandmammy”)
This photograph stars the lovely feet of Dr. Bohanon and Blanca Pinzon (AKA. the mother)
Ooooh speaking of my mom’s feet, some man stopped her at the supermarket one day to tell her that she had “the most beautiful feet he had ever seen.” o.O
I am having such a hard time doing school work at home. No one who hasn’t gone through this could truly understand how difficult recovering from an ED really is. It consumes you and functioning in other areas is really, really difficult. I’ve been trying my best though and was happy to find out today that I got an 88 on my Taming of the Shrew test
Lunch was extremely exciting. I made grilled tofu over rice! It was just to die for. I seasoned the tofu with orange peel, onion, garlic, salt, cayenne pepper and chili. Mmmmm…. I had 1/2 an english muffin with 1 tbsp of Almond butter on the side, but it really wasn’t a pretty sight.
I finished watching Dark Ride with my mom and grandma. Uhhh… it was REALLY SCARY. Like REALLY, REALLY scary. I was surprised. I reccommend it to a person who just wants to have fun and who won’t take the movie very seriously (it sucks if you take it seriously). The movie is just pure, gory, disturbing fun. Don’t go into it expecting a masterpiece. Meanwhile, I had some cottage cheese and fruit: pineapple & grapes. About and hour later, I had carrots and hummus: a combination sent down to earth from Zeus himself (get it? hummus? greek? Zeus? AHAHAHAHA not funny. lol.) I’m sure you all appreciate my cheesy jokes.

Dinner was a feat for me. You see, I have this ridiculous fear of fish bones (thanks to my phobia of choking to death). And I thought my fear had died down, so I asked my mom to make some halibut. Oh God, it was awesome, but… my fear came back tonight. I could barely eat the fish! (I didn’t take a picture of it for I considered it a demon.) But, I had some delicious black beans, avocado, and plantain on the side with a salad.
After dinner, I worked on finishing my biology project with my mom. ALMOST done! I have 2 power point slides left. Yes! Tomorrow, after I finish my day’s work, I am hoping that I have time to work on another drawing. Maybe I will draw something for my mom, let her know how much I appreciate her being here for me. I love her.
My snack included more dairy products. I wonder if eating so much dairy can hurt me? I had a cranberry & almond Kind Bar (it was free!), oikos greek yogurt (sweetened with strawberry syrup), and warm milk. I loved the Kind bar, it was my first one. It tastes great with yogurt due to its simpleness. Sorry for such a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE picture. My kitchen has the worst lighting.
I’m going to go watch the Tyra Show now. Tyra Banks is pretty entertaining. There is some girl on the show right now, who is a sex addict and tells her parents all the dirty details.. Ugh. Why, oh why would you tell your parents about every “blow j” you give a guy.. seriously?
Goodnight! <3 Karina
