I just wanted to start off by thanking everyone for their supportive comments on yesterday’s post. If I was having a rough moment throughout the day today, I would remember your words and they would keep me motivated to eat and stay in a healthy mindset. You guys are amazing! <3
On to the eats!
Considering how long it took me to whip up yesterday’s amazing breakfast, I wanted to keep things simple today and just eat without thinking so much. I had a bowl of Kashi GoLean Crunch! in Brown Cow creamy coffee yogurt topped with a chopped apple and crushed walnuts and sprinkled with lots of cinnamon! It was kind of like an apple crisp dessert that tasted nothing like apple crisp but was still delicious. I will be trying this combo again in the future!
I finished math with my dad after breakfast (success!) and talked to my parents about how I have been feeling about them the past two days. I am so fortunate to have parents that I can be so open with, because I realize that not everyone has parent-kid relationships like this. I have a lot to talk to my psychologist about with on Thursday, and I can’t wait to see him because I feel that talking even more about what is on my mind will really help me feel better. On the bright side, I am feeling really positive about my recovery today! Big contrast to yesterday.
I haven’t been on the computer much today because of the fact that I just HATE using our family computer, so I had a bit of extra time to spend preparing my lunch. Extra time= TOFU!!!! I marinated my tofu in barbecue sauce and grilled it in my George Forman grill. I placed the tofu “steaks” over a bed of mozzarella cheesy rice and had an ounce of Pop Chips on the side.
I left for school to take a math test after this and guess what… THERE WAS NO MATH TEST. The teacher forgot to send the test down to the counselor’s office. Muahaha. But, I still had to talk to my English teacher about 1984. Unfortunately, my anxiety attacked me today and I started crying uncontrollably in the school bathroom. Embarassing :/
On the bright side, I had some nice snacks waiting for me in the car once I got out of school!
Ready for some plastic baggy porn?
A carrot & Hummus!
Kashi TLC Oatmeal Raisin Flax Cookie. It tasted like “secks.” (As my friend Jonathan calls it)
I went for a nice, peaceful walk with my dad when I got home. Although it was already 6 o’ clock in the evening, the Texas sun was still beating down on us as strongly as ever and it was still as hot as an inferno outside. This didn’t keep us from enjoying our time together, though. He told me the story of when we took a trip to Big Bear, California when I was 4 years old and saw a bear. Apparently, when I saw the bear, I pulled out my toy kitchen knife and threatened to kill the bear with it. My parents had to lock me safely in the car to keep me from running after that bear. Yeah guys, I’ve always been a bad ass, even at age four. Kidding!
Ahh… I miss living in California so much!
I had one of my dinner bowls when I got home, yay! Today’s contained: a 1/2 c. lentils, 4 oz. lean ground beef, broccoli, and pistachios with a tortilla on the side!
I am frightened by the people who inhabit our planet. Why, oh, WHY would a 40 year old women have a myspace with practically nude pictures with her boobies hanging out and erotic picture captions? Hm? Why, oh, WHY would this women think it is okay to dedicate an entire myspace page to her “sexiness” when it is very clear she is a mother? DOES SHE NOT CARE ABOUT WHAT HER KIDS WILL THINK!? Oh dear, I have been scarred for life! Ethics, people, ETHICS… get some! Hahah.
I went to HEB today to buy my Larabars and a medley of nuts and dried fruits. It was a huge shopping spree! Hehe, they call my mom “yogurt lady” there, but I think after today she will be known as “nut-lady”. Oh, my poor poor mommy. As my snack, I had my favorite combo: Apple Pie Larabar and vanilla yogurt. This wasn’t the same as the last time I tried this combo because I ran out of Cream Tops
However, If you want the real deal and you want a real treat, have an apple pie Larabar with a Brown Cow vanilla cream top… and die a pleasurable death. It is THAT good.
I forgot to mention that my dad got my computer to work again… only EVERYTHING I had on there got deleted. So I won’t have photoshop for a while
I died a little bit with my computer but at least I get to start fresh, right?
I have the big 1984 test tomorrow, so wish me luck. I’m scared :/ Goodnight!

Good luck on your test Karina! Kick some bootay!
Apple pie Larabars are my favorite. And that cheesy rice looks delish!
So glad you were able to smooth things over with the rents. And that’s great you’re looking forward to seeing your therapist – they do wonders for us, don’t they!?
Love love <3

Thank you!
And yes, they do. I have been so happy ever since I switched psychologists. I used to not look forward to talking things over with my old one but I feel like I am actually making progress with this one and it is such a huge difference!
