Ugh….

ISSUES! I have been working on my Colombia posts only a little bit every day so that is why it has been impossible for me to finish one up and post because ever since I got back at 11 P.M on August 1, I have been so damn busy! I just thought I should post an update on my life out of courtesy and friendship to you guys so you all are informed that I am not dead, haha.
I had to redecorate my room, which took a very long time because it was pretty much a FULL makeover, wall paint and all. It was worth the hard work though because look at how cute it looks! I am so thankful that my parents surprised me with the paint color I wanted. They knew how much I hated my mustard yellow walls.
Those are my favorite corners of my bedroom
OH AND YOU’LL BE THRILLED TO HEAR THESE TWO:
1. I don’t have to see my Cardiologist anymore.
2. My psychologist said that I am practically recovered from Anorexia and that I have found the key to recovery and am already very very far down the road.
I don’t have to see my cardiologist anymore, why? Because my pulse, blood pressure, and heart is perfect. Normal. I’m a normal teenager! My weight is still very low but he said I don’t have to gain any weight because clearly, I am naturally thin now (my mom is slim too) because my vitals are in great shape and I am eating without calorie counting, restrictions, or guilty thoughts.
My psychologist said I was a completely different person from who I was before I left for Colombia. I no longer give off vibes of anxiety, but now “peaceful vibes” and “positive energy.” I don’t even have to see my nutritionist anymore. I no longer think about food all the time, I eat when I am hungry and stop when I am full. Ana is rarely in my mind, you guys, and I am happier than ever.
I have had so much time being happy, socializing with my friends again and not worrying, that I have finally achieved my dreams of starting my own baking business:
I am so psyched! And BUSY getting everything together. I gave out samples at a health food market just yesterday.
My mom has also put me on a project to paint a centerpiece for our dining room table and assigned me lots of “baby sitting” hours with my brother! I don’t mind at all though because I love taking care of him
I get to make grilled cheeses and PB&J sandwiches all the time. YES! Also, Francesca and I are going to start a scrap-booking project together.
So basically, I haven’t not posted because I haven’t wanted to… but because I truly haven’t been able to! I am even discussing returning to ballet again this year with my ballet instructor (the one who told me not to come back until I was better.) I am so excited about everything occurring and about to happen in my life.
I hope everyone is well, and I am always thinking about you guys. I’ll try to have those posts as soon as I can!
For now, I am going to try to get on facebook more often, so feel free to search Karina Pinzon so we can chat ![]()

Hey, I’m a new reader and am really impressed with the food you make. Gives me so many ideas of things to try myself especially as I feel I’m sometimes stuck in a rut with things I eat. I really like your colourful blog layout too!

p.s. You eat so healthy! My diet food is over-processed lo-cal instant meals. That’s why i like the stuff you make as it makes me want to eat better. I like that I now want to go out and buy walnuts etc!

Your room is very pretty, as are you.
It’s nice to see people who have come so far in recovery.
Who knew clicking a random link would make me smile so much today? Not me, that’s for sure.
I have to agree with the commented above, the stuff you eat is so healthy! I need to get me some of these healthy eats.
Congratulations on the baking business, I hope it all goes really well. I’m sure it will.
